Hotel requires guest to stay a minimum of three nights. We recommend:
Arrive one day before the wedding events begin, to help with jet lag and settle in.
Stay until the end of the two main wedding days (9th & 11th)
Many guests are choosing to stay longer to make the most of the trip, though 4 nights is the minimum we’d suggest to enjoy the celebrations without rushing.
Yes. All guests are required to stay at Royalton Splash Riviera, as all wedding events will take place on-site.
Staying together keeps the celebrations close-knit, relaxed, and easy for everyone, and allows us to spend meaningful time together throughout the weekend.
There are a few booking options available:
A package holiday through TUI, including flights, accommodation, and transfers
A hotel room block arranged by our wedding planners for guests booking flights separately
Making your own arrangements if you prefer

If you plan to book via the hotel room block, we recommend reserving your room at least 6 months before the wedding.
After this point, rooms may still be available, but discounted rates cannot be guaranteed.
Royalton Splash Riviera is approximately 30–40 minutes from Cancún International Airport, depending on traffic.
If you book using the recommended TUI package, airport transfers are included.
Cancún International Airport is one of the busiest airports in Mexico, particularly during peak holiday periods.
January is generally well managed, but we recommend allowing extra time for immigration on arrival and departing with plenty of time on your return journey.
Uber is available in Cancún, but availability can be inconsistent around resorts.
For airport transfers, we recommend using the included TUI transfers or transport arranged through the resort or wedding planners. Once at the resort, you won’t need transport for wedding events.

All wedding events will be held outdoors.
Dress codes for each event are listed on the Events & Dress Code page.
Mexico uses Type A and Type B plugs, the same as the US.
UK and European guests will need to bring a suitable travel adaptor.
Cards are widely accepted at the resort, so you won’t need large amounts of cash.
It can still be useful to bring some cash for tips, small purchases, or off-resort excursions. US Dollars are widely accepted.
Only the numbers / guests within your respective invitation are included.
While we truly wish we could include everyone, keeping the guest list to those closest to us allows the weekend to feel intimate and meaningful.
Yes, children are very welcome at all events.
Royalton Splash Riviera is a family-friendly resort with plenty of activities for guests of all ages.
Yes. All wedding events are planned to take place outdoors, making the most of the beautiful surroundings.
Weather-appropriate backup plans will be in place if needed.
Yes. There will be an open bar, as part of both the wedding celebrations and the resort’s all-inclusive offering.
No. The wedding will not be live streamed. We’re keeping the celebrations intimate and focused on those joining us in person.
Yes. We’ll be sharing a small list of recommended makeup artists for those who’d like professional hair or makeup for the events.
You’re also very welcome to look and book independently if you prefer. We’ll update this section once final recommendations are confirmed.
